Doug has worked as an independent Financial Planner since 1989 and has been associated with Acorn Financial Advisory Services since 2004.  Doug does business in Bethesda, MD as Rausch Financial Services and is a partner in the Bethesda, Maryland CPA firm, Canto, Rausch, Deck & Co., P.A.

Credentials and designations include a Bachelors of Science Finance from the University of Iowa, a CPA (Certified Public Accountant), a Masters of Science Taxation from American University, a CFP^®(Certified Financial Planner) from the College of Financial Planning, and the CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) from the American College.

Doug and his wife, Susan, reside in Potomac, Maryland.  They enjoy activities on the Chesapeake Bay including boating and fishing.  Their grown son resides in Louisville, Kentucky.
